Abbie & Marco

Connie & Ryan Morgan

The beautiful wedding of Connie and Ryan began at the bride's home. Totally emotional - especially when Connie presented her dad with a special portrait of herself for him. I'll have to post the pic she chose from the session in another post. C & R were married in a Catholic church in the presence of close family the day before their BIG ceremony at the Paiute Golf Resort. Connie is absolutely a total cutie pie. She has the cutest voice I've ever heard. I just want to give her a hug every time I see her. I remember the night they came by to meet with me for the first time a year ago - we had soooo much fun! We sat and looked through albums and watched other couples wedding videos. We shared so much in enthusiasm and excitement. I'm the type of gal that likes a little adventure and something different and doesn't mind cake in the face on the wedding day. Oh how they loved the idea. Some brides turn their nose at the thought of cake on their face, which I don't mind, but hey, if cake cutting is at the end of the night anyhow.... the photos are soooooo worth it. That reminds me, I didn't include one of their cake in the face pics. Grrr.... I'll have to include that in my follow-up post. lol.
Such lovely eyes.

Mom and Dad reading the tear-jerking presenation gift we put together for Connie to give to her Dad.

London on my mind

July 15, 2005 was the beautiful day London and Melissa were married - one of the most amazing, heart-felt weddings I've had the honor of photographing. I think about London daily and miss him dearly. Words cannot explain how horrified I was when his mother hysterically called me early in the morning 11 days after the wedding with the tragic news of London's fatal accident. I know this isn't the most cheery post, but I just feel compelled to write what's on my mind. It's not much - just the fact that my heart aches for his family and their loss of a fine young man.
If only everyone had the opportunity to have met London - wow, I think this world would be a happier place. I smile when I think about what London's doing in heaven. I hope this brings his family comfort. I'll be making a slideshow of their amazing wedding when I get some time. I know I've fallen behind on my posting, but should have some free time next week... hopefully.
I love you guys!
